Okay, so Grossman had some issues during the game against Indy. Three fumbles and an interception, to be exact. So what? #1, it’s pre-season. #2, it’s pre-season. If we’re going to look to pre-season as the be-all-end-all, let’s compare it against last season. It’s only fair.
In 2006, his completion percentage was 54.6. In the 2007 pre-season, he’s 81.0. 2006 SckY was 142. 2007 is 6. Pre-season attempts is 3 for 1 TD, while 2006 is 24 attempts for 0 TDs. Granted, he fumbled 8 times in 2006 and has already dropped the goose 3 times in pre-season but … wtf, it’s pre-season.
I’m the first to agree that Grossman is iffy at best. But we need to stick with him. At least for a few more games. His stats aren’t that bad.
NB: I’d love to see Kyle Orton get more game time. I think he has potential.
