MacSanta good. MacHeist bad. Does it make sense now? It seems to me that the developers who didn’t participate in MacHeist are the ones who made the loudest noise about it being a bad deal, but the ones who did participate seem okay with it (with at least one reporting a spike in normal sales). And now $200,000 is to be donated to various charities because of the developers who participated. I guess MacSanta won’t get any bad press because only the developers get the money. And the price is only a 20% discount. I mean, you can’t discount it too much or it becomes a bad deal for the developers. And, during the Christmas season, we’ve got to think of the developers. Who will feed the developers?!
