I've hand-rolled my own blog using a series of Perl scripts, Dropbox, Hazel, Acorn, and rsync. Everything on this site is straight HTML and CSS. No databases or blogging front-end. Magic.

Web Standards

I care about and adhere to web standards. SpiritOfNine's HTML should validate as HTML5, its layout is valid CSS and it's RSS is valid as well.

Given all of this, if you experience issues viewing the site, let me know. Please understand, if you're using Internet Explorer, I'm not going to be very concerned. Upgrade to a decent, standards-compliant browser, then let me know if you still experience issues.
