Disturbing
To get from my office to the restroom, I have to walk past the gross anatomy lab. The sound of bone saws always makes me a little queasy. But the smell of cooking meat is downright disturbing.
Amazon Prime
I discussed this with my wife and we decided that because Amazon only had five of one book in stock that they were showing preferential treatment to the Prime customers. After all, if they only have 5 in stock, they have to earmark a certain number of any inventory in order to guarantee the 2-day shipment. Because you can sign up for a 30 day trial, I decided to test the theory, canceled my order, signed up for Amazon Prime and place my order again.
Chicago Is The Last Man Standing
The Chicago Bears stand 3-0 in pre-season, carrying the best record to date. Their defense went an impressive three straight three-and-outs on Saturday, while the offense racked up an impressive 31 points during the first half against 49ers (1-2). The only first down the 49ers managed was on a 2-yard run following a Chicago punt-fark.
