Leopard First Impressions

I finally received my copy of Leopard from Amazon yesterday and started rolling it out today. As of right now, I only have the wife’s iBook to go. I haven’t had a lot of time to play with it, so what follows is a brief overview.

Joey Bishop, the stone-faced comedian who found success in nightclubs, television and movies but became most famous as a member of Frank Sinatra’s Rat Pack, has died at 89.

Red Motor Dog

Red Motor Dog is a four-piece band hailing from Rekjavik, Iceland. Their sound is a weird mix of STP meets Lynyrd Skynyrd meets early, pre-suck Bush meets Motorhead, only they’re surprisingly more enjoyable than this sloppy description might lead you to believe.

The 69 Eyes, The Sleeze Years

To date, The 69 Eyes’ career can be neatly divided into The Sleeze Years and The Goth Years. The band formed in Helsinki in either 1989 or the early 1990’s, depending on whether you believe Wikipedia or the band’s biography.

It Ain’t Over ‘Til …

If my numbers are right, there have only been 10 teams down 3-1 which have come back to take the series. And if memory serves, Josh Beckett lead one of those teams.
