Every day we’re hit with differing statistics regarding software/music/movie piracy. The mainstream press never questions these numbers. Instead, they swallow them whole, accuracy be damned.
Here’s a hint for the mainstream press (who apparently are somewhat starved for numbers): Question the authenticity. Go against the flow. Dare them to back up their numbers with cold, hard facts. Do some friggin’ research and demand non-partisan research.
I guarantee that hundreds, if not thousands, of blogs will link to you within 24 hours. Tens of thousands within 48 hours. You want numbers? Demand authenticity. We’ve got your back.
